We are currently in rainy Adelaide, where

weather on the west coast of Australia is cool and
rainy. Spontaniously we decided to fly to Bali and
spend two weeks in the sun. We enjoy diving on the
small island Lembongan.

in Perth and we enjoy the city life. Unfortunately
it is rainy and cold, therefore we booked a flight
to Bali. We're escaping tomorrow for two weeks. |

We have seen and experienced a lot the
last few weeks and documented that in our travel stories 10, 11,
12 and 13. Since a few days we're in Exmouth on the Westcoast.
Here we enjoy the beach and some relaxing days without
travelling.

Today we got to the
Centre of Australia. After 1'000 kilometers
driving on dirt roads on the tanami track we
arrived save and sound in Alice
Springs.

Two days ago we had the
first flat tire on our Troopy. No wonder,
our tires where in a really bad state and so
we decided to invest in a set of new tyres.
With the new tyres, we are prepared for the
next adventures in the Outback of Australia.

wilderness of Cape York. We have survived all the river
crossings on the Old Telegraph Track and have been on
the northern most tip of Australia. We are working on

Sydney without power!
Today we witnessed a complete blackout in
the central business district. The blackout
lasted for almost two hours.

The
first two weeks in New Zealand were fantastic. We
experienced New Zealand as a country with an
enormous variety of landscape and wildlife. We
walk through rainforest, visit a glacier and have
a picnic on the beach all in one day. Awesome! |

This morning
during the second last dive of
an Open Water Course on the
housereef I came face to face
with three huge manta rays. What
a fantastic experience.

Tonight we
witnessed how a whole bunch of
baby turtle hatchlings were digging their
way out of their nest.
The nest was located on a very busy part of the beach,
so the sand was compacted and quite hard to dig through.
All in all about 70 baby Hawksbill turtles made it out
and found their way into freedom.

This is
the first time that we celebrate
Christmas under the tropical sun
on the Maldives. The whole
island is nicely decorated but
without cold winterweather and
snow Christmas is not the same.

Yeah, we did it! After three
days of exams we are happy having passed
the IE. In a couple of days we'll get
the confirmation that we are certified
dive instructors and allowed to teach.
