14.05.2012 After seven month living in a tropical country we experienced cold temperatures. In Sri Lankas Hill Country the temperature drops to 11 degrees.
09.05.2012 Great. We got the visa for our trip to India starting on 28 May.
01.05.2012 Today we flew from the Maldives to Colombo in Sri Lanka. First we have to organize a few things in Colombo before we can start our tour through Sri Lanka.

17.12.2011 In our freetime here in paradise we were working on a new travelogue of our awesome extended easter weekend in the Swiss alps. Now online.
02.11.2011 We already enjoyed our first days off in paradise and had some time to work on our website. The result is a new travelogue with lots of pictures of the wild animals of Namibia and a travelogue with some impressions from our new home.
15.10.2011 The first week working on Komandoo is already over. It feels like we've been here for ages. We finished four courses already and we're diving in the indian ocean every day. It's just amazing here.
06.10.2011 After medical tests in Male we continue with organisational things. We sre supposed to stay in Male for one night but finally a last minute transfer has been organised. That means we arrived on Komandoo the same day. It's great to be back in the Maldives.
05.10.2011 Off we go! Our flight leaves Zurich on time. After a stop in Frankfurt our journey goes directely to Male. We land in Male the next morning.
28.09.2011 Our relocation is going very well. The appartment is empty, cleaned and the keys are handed over. Now we enjoy the last days in Switzerland with our families and friends in Switzerland before we're going to our paradise island on the Maldives.
15.09.2011 Oneway to the Maldives! Our flight is booked and soon our adventure can start. In three weeks we will arrive on the dream island Komandoo. We are looking forward to live and work in paradise.

29.07.2011 Today is our big day. We are getting married and say YES to each other. We are looking forward to that special day and we are very grateful that we have found each other.

23.06.2011 We are getting married!!! We've been to the register office today to discuss our wedding. The big day will be on 29 July. We are very happy.

09.09.2009 The weather on the west coast of Australia is cool and rainy. Spontaniously we decided to fly to Bali and spend two weeks in the sun. We enjoy diving on the small island Lembongan.
07.09.2009 The newest travel story about our drive from the red centre to the westcoast is online. Currently we're in Perth and we enjoy the city life. Unfortunately it is rainy and cold, therefore we booked a flight to Bali. We're escaping tomorrow for two weeks.
24.08.2009 We have seen and experienced a lot the last few weeks and documented that in our travel stories 10, 11, 12 and 13. Since a few days we're in Exmouth on the Westcoast. Here we enjoy the beach and some relaxing days without travelling.
21.07.2009 Today we got to the Centre of Australia. After 1'000 kilometers driving on dirt roads on the tanami track we arrived save and sound in Alice Springs.
12.06.2009 Two days ago we had the first flat tire on our Troopy. No wonder, our tires where in a really bad state and so we decided to invest in a set of new tyres. With the new tyres, we are prepared for the next adventures in the Outback of Australia.
01.06.2009 We are back from the remote wilderness of Cape York. We have survived all the river crossings on the Old Telegraph Track and have been on the northern most tip of Australia. We are working on the travel story of this adventure.

30.03.2009 Sydney without power! Today we witnessed a complete blackout in the central business district. The blackout lasted for almost two hours.
05.03.2009 After four days of searching the internet and newspapers we have already been successful in finding our means of transportation for the next eight months. The Toyota Landcruiser will be our means of transportation, sleeping room, kitchen and much more..

29.01.2009 The first two weeks in New Zealand were fantastic. We experienced New Zealand as a country with an enormous variety of landscape and wildlife. We walk through rainforest, visit a glacier and have a picnic on the beach all in one day. Awesome!

11.01.2009 Today is already our last day in Hong Kong and in the evening we will fly to Auckland in New Zealand.

28.09.2008 HOLIDAYS! Tomorrow we will leave Kuredu for a dive safari. With the liveaboard boat Monsoon, we will visit different atolls and will enjoy beautiful divesites.
07.09.2008 Yippee! Today, our friends from Switzerland arrived on Kuredu. For the next 10 days we will enjoy the time together with Erika and Martin.

01.07.2008 Bummer! Far to quick the days in Switzerland have passed and we are back in Qatar. In one hour we will continue our trip back to Male and from there further to Kuredu.

19.02.2008 This morning during the second last dive of an Open Water Course on the housereef I came face to face with three huge manta rays. What a fantastic experience.
30.01.2008 Tonight we witnessed how a whole bunch of baby turtle hatchlings were digging their way out of their nest. The nest was located on a very busy part of the beach, so the sand was compacted and quite hard to dig through. All in all about 70 baby Hawksbill turtles made it out and found their way into freedom.
08.01.2008 Our old guestbook got attacked and filled with spam. Therefore we had to create a new guestbook and this version is now online. We are looking forward for new comments.

24.12.2007 This is the first time that we celebrate Christmas under the tropical sun on the Maldives. The whole island is nicely decorated but without cold winterweather and snow Christmas is not the same.
01.12.2007 Today we landed with the sea plane on our dream island Kuredu. On this maldivian island we'll live and work as diving instructors for the coming year.
28.11.2007 After two months we leave Koh Tao and head for the Maldives - work is waiting.
14.11.2007 As of today a part of our website is available in english. From now on, also our english speaking friends can follow our adventures.
18.10.2007 Yeah, we did it! After three days of exams we are happy having passed the IE. In a couple of days we'll get the confirmation that we are certified dive instructors and allowed to teach.
02.10.2007 Our fist day of the IDC is over. A hard but exiting time will follow.
01.10.2007 Today we moved into our new house. We found a cozy bungalow surrounded by palm trees and from our terrace we have seaview.
26.09.2007 Today is the day. We flew from Zurich to Bangkok and further south to the small, beautiful island Koh Tao.
